Dr. Richard A. Olson is a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and author, known for his dedication to family, faith, and storytelling. Born in Moline, Illinois, he grew up in an auto care business family, developing a lifelong love for muscle cars, sports, and mixed martial arts. A former professional rock drummer, he has an affinity for vintage culture, enjoying classic noir films, pulp magazines, and old-time radio. Dr. Olson’s book series includes the Nick Stihl, Private Investigator novels, set in 1930s Peoria, Illinois, and the futuristic Border Agent Strikes, featuring hero Scott Lund. Alongside his wife Angela, children, grandchildren, and a giant white dog named Rambo, Dr. Olson resides on Twin Lakes near Peoria.
